Toolbox of George Beaupré who was a loom fixer and used it to carry tools which he used in the spinning mills of Biddeford, ME.
George Beaupré immigrated to Biddeford, ME with his family about 1903 from Beloeil, Quebec. He worked as a "Loom Fixer" in the mills. This would be the spinning mills. This is his tool box which looks to be hand made with original tools in it according to his grandson, Dr. Norman Beaupré, who donated the collection to the cultural center.

The wooden tool box itself appears to be hand made and has so areas on one end and also lower left of one side that have spots of white paint and also some red paint visible. There is red paint visible on one end. The leather strap attached to the top carrying bar of the tool box is only attached on one end. Tools are well organized and some are engraved. Many wrenches, strews, and more. The 5/8" wrench is imprinted and says " Drop Forged" on one side, and " Barcalo-Ruffalor, USA" on the other side. Another wrench is engraved on one side " Crompton + Knowles Loom Works."
