** Monthly Board Meetings are held at the J.Richard Martin Community Center, 189 Alfred Street Biddeford, ME, at 6:30 pm on the second Thursday of each month in the La Kermesse Office on the second floor, Room 17.

**Please NOTE the May meeting will be held on Wed, May13th, due to the presentation on May 14th. **

Voices and Visions Lecture Series

As part of Biddeford 250 and America 250, the Voices and Visions Lecture Series will take place throughout the year 

This lecture series explores the many histories that shaped the United States, from Indigenous presence and precolonial life to revolution, community, and change. Through archaeology, scholarship, and local perspectives, the Biddeford Cultural and Heritage Center invites the public to reflect on 250 years of history in context.

Maine in the Civil War: Muster to Memory

Muster to Memory, the second in the “America 250: Visions and Voices Lecture Series,” examines the experiences of Maine Infantry Regiments during the American Civil War.

The film, by Dan Lambert and Dave Cheever, will not be recorded as it is scheduled to premiere on Maine Public Television in late May.
 
The film showing will be held at McArthur Library on Main Street in Biddeford  at starting at 6 PM and followed by a community discussion.
