This school trophy was awarded on June10, 1893 to the Biddeford High School. It is unclear what sports.

Two small circles are visible on the bottom of the trophy. one is engraved " Quadruple Plate" and the other circle is engraved with "Meridan Company" and also features the image of a scale. The number 4300 is also engraved on the bottom.

Maker's Mark: Quadruple Plate and also Meridan Company along with the number 4300 and USA. Quadruple plated metal is a high-quality, 19th-early 20th-century silver-plated ware typically made of a base metal (copper or nickel) coated with a layer of silver roughly four times thicker than standard plating.
