To say that Bill has lived an unconventional life would be an understatement.  His early years were spent with his extended family as part of traveling carnivals and circuses.  He left school in junior high, struck out on his own and then lived the horrors of the Vietnam War.

His work life is also quite a journey:  from Executive Chef, to lumberjack to starting multiple businesses. The other part of his life includes being a lifelong musician, artist, sculptor and published poet.  In his own words, “I’ve had a hell of a life.”

His message is “You’ve got one life to live.  Don’t waste it.  Do all you can.  Learn as much as you can.”

He spent much of his life on the road. “it’s in my blood,” but always finds himself returning to Biddeford… because it is home.  In recent years, he has appreciated his ongoing connections to friends and fellow musicians.  He is especially proud of having founded the now popular monthly Musicians Breakfast.
