A near life-long Biddeford resident, Michael shares memories of growing up in Biddeford and how that impacted his life.  The son of immigrants from Quebec, Canada his identity as a Franco-American is something he is extremely proud of.

Although his initial plan was to teach music at the college level, his return to Biddeford due to his father’s illness resulted in several changes leading to his current 30 year+ career in Information Technology.

His fascination and in-depth knowledge on many topics range from church organs to submarines. This is particularly evident with his insightful recollections during his narrated tour of the now closed St. Andre’s Church.

Mike’s closing statement captures his primary takeaway from this interview, “Je suis fière de ma ville, de ma naissance.” [Translation:  I am proud of my city, of my birth]
