Born in Biddeford, Emma highly values her life experience, rooted in deep inter-generational Franco-American family ties. Except for a short stint after high school where she experienced a common desire to “get away”, she now shares her appreciation for all that our community has to offer.

Her early passion for books and her time spent at McArthur Library materialized into a career that spanned starting out in journalism to writing marketing content for an national environmental engineering firm.  The common thread is the ability to incorporate her love of storytelling.  She is a published author with her first book, A Brief History of Biddeford.

While connecting personal memory to broader changes, Emma’s message returns to what matters most: local relationships, familiar places and supporting the businesses and institutions that keep Biddeford vibrant.
